Subway and Bus Service
Picture of MBTA subway Airport Station (Blue Line) that serves Logan Airport. MBTA is the public transit agency for the Boston region. The Blue Line subway and Silver Line bus are the two MBTA lines serving the airport. The one-way fare for both is $2. Blue Line The Airport Station on the Blue Line subway is close to the airport. There is shuttle bus service from the Airport Station to each of the terminals at the airport. Silver Line The Silver Line is called a rapid transit bus. It is a bus with part of the route on city streets and part of the route in a tunnel under Boston Harbor. The Silver Line has stops at each terminal at Logan Airport and connects to the Red Line subway at South Station. Bostonians will argue endlessly about the benefits and problems of taking the Blue Line subway or Silver Line bus to the airport. To help you make your decision on which line to use look at our Subway/Bus Map. Official MBTA website: The T to Logan |
